Live from UGANDA — Axel and Carly have only been married one year (just celebrated one year in June!) but have already navigated a cvd 19 era wedding, moved across the country after being married for one month to train for their internship at the same Christian NGO, started new jobs, dealt with some tougher moments as Carly’s mental health showed its darker side, moved back to California for a few weeks then packed up to move to Uganda to start new jobs in a new country.

They share how they’ve shown up and found each other through it all, relied daily on Christ, what it means to sacrifice, love better and grieve the things they miss deeply while being away from home.

They grew up in the same college-mountain town in Arizona, and they recently got two new additions to their family, two sweet golden retrievers, Faith and Texas. Dallas owns and operates a towing business, and Alex is designing a clothing line that will donate portions of profit to charity; to suicide victims and sex-trafficked women in Cambodia, two things she’s most passionate about.
